Republican Technology Council (RTC) believes that all Web site visitors should have an expectation of privacy for visitors to our Web site. As such, RTC has developed the following guidelines in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission guidelines. The following information is provided to you in order to understand how RTC addresses online privacy and consumer protection.

RTC’s Web Site Visitation

Anyone may visit the RTC Web site(s) and access information while remaining anonymous and without revealing detailed personal information. However, in the event that you desire certain relevant and requested information, RTC, may at its option, request information from you. RTC will explain the purpose for which the information will be used prior the collection of that information.

RTC does not provide any personal information to any third party without having first disclosed that RTC would do so at the time that you request the information. In an effort to ensure that you are aware of new products or services, RTC may collect such information.

In the event that an individual is younger than 18 years, RTC will not collect information from these individuals. RTC believes that any requests for such information should come from the child’s parent.

The RTC Web site uses cookies so that registrants for discussion forums and other services won’t have to re-enter user name and password information upon every site visit. We do not use cookies for any other purpose.

Protection of Your Personal Information

RTC will endeavor to take appropriate steps to respect and protect the information you share with us. Whenever you give RTC sensitive information (a credit card number is an example), RTC will take commercially reasonable steps to establish a secure connection (SSL) with your Web browser. The credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are not retained for any other purpose.

Links to Other Sites

Our web site has links to other useful sites on the Internet. If you follow any link that takes you to a location that does not include ‘GOPTECH’ in the address, you will have left the RTC web server and you will need to refer to that site’s own privacy policy.
